Important notice about on-site registration
Because of the limited capacity of the conference hall, regrettably we do NOT accept on-site registration for Nov. 12 & 13. For the rest (Nov. 14 & 15), on-site registration is possible, but please understand the following:
- On-site registration is possible for Nov. 14 & 15 only.
- Registration fee: 3000 JPY (professional researchers, cash only). Waived for students.
- We cannot guarantee that we can give you a program book and other materials.
Scope
The aim of the conference is to highlight and integrate the latest developments on non-equilibrium fluctuations in diverse areas of sciences, including biology, fluid mechanics, nonlinear dynamics, and statistical physics. We expect that the conference will be a venue for leading scientists in those fields to share new developments and exchange ideas, in the hope of triggering new directions of research.
Topics of interest will include, but not limited to,
- Statistical mechanics for nonequilibrium fluctuations
- Nonequilibrium fluctuations in life phenomena
- Nonequilibrium fluctuations in fluids
- Nonequilibrium fluctuations in large-scale systems and interdisciplinary areas
Schedule and important dates
August 31, 2018 Deadline for registration & abstract submission, if you wish to give a contributed talk, or need an official letter for visa application.
* Applications for contributed talks will be screened.
September 14, 2018 Deadline for registration & abstract submission, if you are an invited speaker or wish to give a poster presentation.
November 2, 2018 Deadline for registration, for general audience who will not give a presentation. NB) Registration for the first two days (Nov. 12 and 13) was already closed due to the limited capacity of the conference hall.
November 12-15, 2018: Conference.
November 14, 2018 (evening): Banquet.

Registration fee
- Students: free of charge
- Others: 5,000 Japanese Yen (2,500 Japanese Yen for registration for the latter two days only)
All participants except students are kindly asked to pay the registration fee by credit card. Please visit ONLINE PAYMENT.
Banquet
The conference banquet is scheduled for the evening of November 14, 2018, at the conference site. We, organizers, are willing to make it a special occasion for celebrating many years of contributions of Prof. Masaki Sano to the field, with the participants of the conference.
The participation fee will be 7,000 Japanese Yen for professional researchers and accompanying persons, and 4,000 JPY for students. Please answer whether you wish to attend the banquet in the registration form. More details will be announced on this web site.
